I am not feeling very confident today, I am wondering if I am doing the right thing. I think deep down I know I am and that I am doing it for the right reasons too. I hate the way I look and how my tummy makes me feel. That's why I took the before photo down, I will put it back up though as I think it is an important step in the journey.
I also want people to know and see that even when they think they look one way, others see them differently, when I look at my stomach I feel sick and want to cry, but some will see my stomach and think that it's not that bad and that theirs is way worse.....and visa virsa.
We are all beautiful women in the eyes of others......we need to become beautiful women in our own eyes.

Intro...
Hi,
I'm Cath and I want to share my journey to getting a tummy tuck. I had my last child 3 1/2 years ago and my body has never been the same. Like many women that have had children but skin has been stretched to the point of no return, and I have been so miserable with the way my stomach looks and unable to lose the weight and tone the skin.
I have since found out that the skin looses it elasticity and once the stomach has been stretch that badly it will never return to normal...that is unless you are one of the lucky ones!
So after many years of saying "I want a tummy tuck" I am finally going to do it! the only problem is that if I have it done in New Zealand it will cost in the region if $20,000NZD and I just can not afford that. My husband suggested I look at having it done overseas, to which my response was not a chance in hell! but he started to look into it and it was so much cheaper and more likely to happen IF is was agreeable.
So I started researching it myself and I was very surprised to find that due to the exchange rate many people did in fact travel overseas to have all kinds of plastic surgery done. For the same procedure, flights, additional accommodation and a little extra money the total would be $7,000!
I found a hospital in Bangkok and contacted them, from there I searched the Internet for both good and bad stories, which I found of cause!.
I had to take pictures and send them over to the hospital and also complete an online medical form. So I am now waiting to hear from my surgeon and have my op date confirmed.
I am looking at going in just 4 short weeks!!! I am scared, I will be going on my own, unless I can convince a friend to come with me.
I have decided to do this blog to let people know how, what, why, and when this can be done. So please follow me on my tummy tuck journey!
