This will be my last post until I get to Thailand. I am been waxing and clucking this morning, I have re packed my suitcase and started packing cosmetic bags. I have decided to take a carry on case as well as I will need to take a small case to the hospital with personal items i it I am guessing.
I am looking forward to the flight and just being able to relax with out "mum can I have a drink", " mum I'm hungry" mum, mum, mum, mum!!! That will be nice.
Talk to you all soon!!

Stressed a bit
Feeling the stress levels rising a little now. I have been keeping myself busy, have cooked meals for all of next week and done baking for the kids lunch boxes.
I just have a little packing left to do and thats it. Kids are going to go to a friends house sunday morning and I am going to drop them off, it is going to be SO hard to say goodbye to them. I have never been away from them for long. I think that is what I am going to find the hardest, I am going to miss their cuddles and smiles and I love yous.
What if I never see them again? I know that sounds very dramatic but it is real. I might have to crack out the anti anxiety pills!

4 Sleeps to go....
Only four more sleep to go before I jet off to Thailand! I have emailed Beauty Med as asked them what they recommend for me to bring, they said to just pack as I would if I was having a holiday....I really am wondering how I will be after the surgery, I wonder if I will be able to get up and move around. Even if I could just get a little retail therapy in I would be happy LOL.
I am also wondering how much I will hurt after the surgery as well. I have had a C-section and I coped with that ok, I wonder how different it will be?
I have started packing, I think I will end up taking far too much, I got a lovely little sun dress to take with me and I can't wait to put it on after my surgery to see what it looks like.
TTFN!

6 Sleeps to go!
Well hi everyone, I will be doing regular updates from now on, I have have been thinking about what to pack and think I might contact Beauty Med and ask them if they suggest anything. I have got my Thai Baht sorted out and I collect that tomorrow, I have transferred the bulk of my funds onto my travel card, I have the tickets, accommodation is all sorted and so is my insurance.
I am starting to feel very nervous and really do not know what to expect. I have made sure I have Skype set up on my laptop and my husbands laptop so I can talk to and see my family while I am away. I am also going to get roaming set up on my cell phone.
I can't believe I only have a few days to go! My appointment is confirmed for 10am Monday 30th of August (Thai time) and we fly out at 1.30pm (NZ time) on Sunday 29th August.
I think my main worry at this stage is will I wake up from the procedure?

Update #3
Well we are all set to go!! I have had my appointment and surgery confirmed for Monday 30th Aug at 10am!!
I have booked the flights and the hotel, I am now dealing with a company called Beauty Med and I highly recommend them, they are great check out the website http://www.plasticsurgerythailand.com They do all the communicating for you with the hospital of your choice and they don't charge you a commission, I am guessing they get that from the hospital.
The average temp in Bangkok at the moment is 34 degrees but it is the rainy season too. I am planning to take 3/4 leggings and singlets. I am not sure what else to take so I am going to ask for your suggestions! I will open up a comments box where you can leave your suggestions. Remember that I am going to be very sore around the middle and more than likely be in a very tight fitting body suit thing and it is 34 degrees so I need soft fitting cool clothing, also what to wear in bed...I will be in a single bed and my friend will be in the same room in the other single bed.
CAN'T ADD A NEW COMMENTS BOX SO PLEASE PUT YOUR SUGGESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS BOX...THANKS

Update #1
Well I have now heard back from Yanhee hospital and they have told me that they would like to know the status of my asthma and that they would like to also have this in writing from my own GP here in New Zealand. So I have been to see my GP this morning and obtained a letter stating that my asthma isunder control and that I am fit for surgery.
I have scanned and emailed this to Yanhe hospital and I am now once again playing the waiting game. It feels like I have been sorting this out for ages but it has only been a week and a half!
